Should Pacman fight one more time or should he hang his gloves and focus on Senate?

The Filipino’s pride Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao is an epitome of a great warrior in boxing. He fought big names inside the ring fair and square. During his early career, young Pacquiao showed his vicious power to his Mexican opponents like Erik Morales, Jorge Solis, Marco Antonio Barrera, Antonio Margarito, and his nemesis Juan Manuel Marquez etc. and because of these fights Filipino boxers were labeled as “Mexican Slayer”.

But, many sports analyst told that Juan Manuel Marquez’s power and fighting style would finish the soaring career of Manny Pacquiao. During their first fight in 2004, they showed their good condition but in the first 3 rounds Pacman showed his ferocious punches and that shaken Juan Marquez’s temple, he knocked the Mexican boxer 3 times in a single round. But that didn’t end the determination of the Mexican fighter.
In the next rounds, he showed to the people that his recovery was unbelievably fast. He also hurt Manny with his counter punches but the courage of a warrior was and always will be in Filipino’s heart. The last rounds of the fight were chaos, punches were all over and they were so fast. In the end, they went to score card and it was a split draw so they decided to have a rematch.

In 2008, the second match for the two fighters was taken place. People expected the fight to be a showdown and these hungry fighters didn’t fail their expectations. First round, the right punches landed straight to Manny’s face and that could’ve hurt him for sure. But, this Filipino fighter didn’t want it to go that way so he thrown a lot of punches that made the Mexican fighter knocked. As the fight goes deeper, blood were on their faces. Blood and sweat couldn’t hide the rage in their heart. There were rounds that Marquez outplayed Pacquiao but in the end the judges scored split decision favorably to Pacquiao.

In 2010, Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao was elected to the House of Representatives in the 15th Congress of the Philippines, representing the province of Sarangani. He also has the most absence in the 15th Congress because of his preparations in his career. But that doesn’t stop the fire in Manny’s spirit.
In 2011, another rematch was occurred. In this fight, Marquez landed a lot of solid right straight but Manny shows more dominance in the fight. And Manny won by Majority decision. Marquez thinks he won the fight and that’s why they fought in 2012 for the fourth time.

In 2012, first 3 rounds of the fight you can see in the swollen face of mature Marquez how intense this fight for him but Marquez blown a huge right straight that knocked Pacquiao. In 4th round Manny managed to recover and win that round as well as 5th round where he took Manuel with a lightning-fast left straight. And Manny took this advantage to finish Manuel and claim the victory but that didn’t happen. But the punches left an open cut to Manuel’s face. In 6th round blood was all over on the face of Manuel and there was no time left he thrown a big right which knocked Manny into sleep. Many said it was a lucky punch but for Manuel it was not. It was destined to happen.

Senator Manny was re-elected in 2013 to the 16th Congress of the Philippines. And he has the most absence in the Congress again.

In June 2016, Pacquiao was elected as a senator and will serve a six-year term until 2022. So far he has been an effective senator because of he has participation in some critical issues being deliberated in the Senate, but for some he is just meddling and he doesn’t deserve to be one of the leaders of the Government.

What do you think? Should he hang his gloves and focus in the Senate or should he fight for one more time and win the belts taken away from him.
